The Alpha Course at Bretton Baptist Church
The Alpha Course gives an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, informal setting.
Over ten evenings the course looks at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘Why did Jesus Die?’, ‘Does God Heal Today?’ and ‘What About the Church?’ Each evening begins at 7pm with a meal and continues with a talk delivered live or on video and group discussion.
Thousands of people have found Alpha to be a helpful introduction to the Christian faith and the course has been featured in two series on national television. Alpha has been running at Bretton Baptist Church since 1998, usually twice each year. The course includes an away day.
